the thing you should keep in your head

The thing to create is a space in the night, where leaves and moon cannot climb

To scratch marks into your frown, tear a smile in there

Ride past the bar, with an outdoor patio, with plenty people watering in the sun

Drinking sweaty beverages,

All the while waving and sympathetic

From a bicycle with magnetic thread stuck to the tar road,

Stuck close and closing in on an evening in bed

With your love,

This is the thing you should keep in your head.
